This week I took a little field trip to one of my favorite local haunts right here in Brooklyn. Brooklyn Kitchen is so jam packed with kitchen gadgets and foodstuffs, it is every home cook’s dream. Once you are in this place for twenty minutes you will find yourself redesigning your life to figure out how you can become a home brewing, jam making, bread baking, domestic master with a lifetime supply of organic olive oil and grass fed beef. I picked up a lobster cookie cutter for my annual lobster roll fest I host every summer, and some of this fancy Grady’s cold brewed iced coffee. It’s New Orleans style which means they throw in a bit of chicory which adds the most delicious sweetness and zing to your morning cuppa joe. Yum. Have you ever tried cold brewed coffee?
